Lots of geese here in NE Arkansas. Fields are covered with snows, blues, and specks. The conservation
season is in full gear. Headed out tomorrow with my new a400 Extreme Plus and Hevishot Hevi Snow
3.5" #1's to get after them. I have been so pleased with the performance that I got last trip out from the
Hevi Snow shells. Our group totaled 78 snows using the Hevi Snow shells. We were able to take the
geese cleanly and some at extended ranges.

I have probably over 500 on a pond within 2 miles of my house right now. You can hardly see the water between the snows.

been seeing some huge flocks as well
and some HUGE flock at well
crazy how so many can fly so close to each other and not crash, as they can fill the sky when they take off and some flocks must be in the thousands at times

there a hard bird to hunt as they get real smart fast and prefer to stay in BIG flocks for safety it seems!

I've only seen snow geese here in South Western Idaho once. It was a flock of 5.

I've never shot a snow goose, do they taste good?

I don't think so. Lots of people make jerky out of the breast meat.
