Pump For Waterfowl

Just a curious question. Does anyone use a pump shotgun for your waterfowl hunting and what gun are you using? Mossberg 835 Waterfowl for me with a 28" barrel and a Modified Carlson's extended steel choke.

Nothing wrong with a Moss 835. If you have your choke matched to your shells you are good to go. I used to use an 835 right after steel shot came in and I am a side by side guy. After Bismuth shot hit the market I went back to my side by sides and bismuth shot.

I used to use an 835 - 26" barrel with a modified choke firing Estate 3" #2 steel for closer shots and Hevi-Metal 3.5" BB steel and tungsten blend for longer shots. It was a good gun but sold it after I largely quit hunting anything that requires a shotgun.
