Default Roseate Spoon bill

While not huntable waterfowl, it is waterfowl. People in the south see these hunting for food in shallow waters along the coast but it is rare indeed to have one in PA. One of these was seen and pictures taken and put in our newspaper hanging around with a flock of Great Egrets along the Susquehanna river. I have seen Sandhill Cranes and Glossy Ibis which are rare along the Susq. river but never one of these.
