The snow geese are here!
 

They have been here for about a week and a half. There are about 175,000 on our Middlecreek management area and they are still building. I have around a thousand on a big pond about a mile from my home.

Are you guys killing them?

I don't hunt them but we have a lot of people who do.

The way this weather has been, I wouldn't be surprised if they blew out of here early this year. Had the windows open last night, geese were flying north all night long.

I agree, it is above 70 here right now.

Just drove along our west shore looking for some safe ice and saw an eagle hunting ducks and tens of thousands of snow geese. A beautiful sight especially against a blue sky and landing in the blue water.
