Did not go as it is 86f out with no wind. Supposed to be like this all week. Stay tuned....

Today is the opening day of our early Canada goose season and dove season. It is 94 degrees as I type this. I live where I can hear shooting for both and I have not heard a shot so far today. I didn't go out for doves which opened at noon because it is just too darn hot and I don't see it cooling ff for an evening hunt.

I just got my sticker shock for my Federal Duck Stamp! Ouch!

I find it hard to believe that you hadn't heard of the price increase a long time ago.

Because these funds can only be spent to help waterfowl, I am more than happy to pay the $25............ in fact I bought two just because of how the money is mandated to be spent.

Yeah Doc, that increase was long over due. Next we need a federal woodcock stamp to the feds can do some habitat work for woodcock and not leave it all the the RGS and the WS.
