Tell us more about the hunt. Most of us didn't even know you could hunt in Egypt. It's always neat to find out about the hunting culture in another country.

Well, in Egypt we mostly hunt upland and waterfowl, we usually go for Nile river or some fresh lakes to hunt Ducks, water hens and water birds like in the above picture, while sometimes we go for new cities around Cairo to hunt doves and pigeons with air rifles.
The picture is for a place called Qanater in the Nile at Cairo.

How many different species of ducks did you guyz kill ?

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Post more pics of other hunts.

Is there any big game hunting in that area?

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. Is that your blind in the background of your picture? What upland birds do you have there?

How far away do you have to go to get into big game, or is it just not worth it?

It is really so far in fact we need to go other regions at the deserts of border cities to make such a hunt, in addition to the need for huge arrangements for big game hunting such as desert guide men, 4 wheel cars, special gear, and camping which is not so easy in those areas.
We are planning to go for a big game trip but may be later.

I see some dark birds in your latest picutres, with red bills. Are they coots? How do you prepare them?

Sorry for being late, they are water hens in the Nile, we are hunting them by air guns.
