The deaf swan is making a huge comeback

There is no come back to make. Mute swans are not native to north America and are feral pests when they escape private ownership and reproduce in the wild. In PA they may be shot, but be sure they aren't on the owners property when you shoot them.

I've hunted Tundra Swan a coupe of times. Fun birds to hunt and good on the table. I would think the same would be said of the Mute Swan. Hopefully the ludicrous protection on an alien species is eliminated.

The only protection on them would be by the individual states, no protection in PA.
