Default First time succes

Finally, I' ve deicded to duck hunt. a friend asked me to come wit him during early youth season. We got to the boat landing, and it turns out the boat motor won' t start. His dad sent us jump shooting along the river, following the train tracks down to a bridge where he would pick us up when the boat was fixed. We missed a bunch of teal right off, but didnt see anything after that. We got down to the bridge, and went off to a large marsh area with a big pond. We shot alot and missed, but finally, i knocked down a Drake Wood duck. my buddy got a wood duck too on a different pass. I' M HOOKED FOR LIFE

Congrats on your first successful duck hunt DS. Now that you are hooked on the sport , all you`ll need now are a pair of good chestwaders, a dozen different duck and goose calls, a good retriever, a good boat and motor, something to haul it with, all that cold weather clothing, maybe 2 or more shotguns for different types of waterfowling, a trailer to haul all the many dozs of dekes you have to buy, and the list goes on and on[].
Oh yeah, you may need to start reloading shotgun shells to get the maximum performance out of steel shot........all you will need is................
Good luck in your future hunts.

Ron
