Attracting ducks
 

I live in georgia and I have two ponds within 100 yards of each other and the past few years we have had a few ducks but this year we are looking to attract alot of ducks. what is a good way to attract ducks to the area and keep them in my lakes?

I know it's a little late for this response but in the past we have planted Either ***anese Millet, corn, or Sorghum (Milo) around the pond. Anything that will provide a good food source will be a good attractant.It's kind of late in the season for planting so a good thing to do is maybe spread some milo seed in or near the water.
Also some of the other guys at our lease swear by leaving decoys out all the time. Personally I don't see this helping out much. one last thing is nearby foodsources. find out what is close to you.

where can you get the milo seed just at a regular feed store. I was also wondering how much it is

If there is a local grain dealer or feed/seed wholesaler in the area that would be your best bet.

You will need FOOD and habitat............then you use the
new SpeedBall shells to wack and stack them....

LOTS AND LOTS of shelled corn, Just dont get caught its costly.

Feed. And set mojos out. Build floating duck houses.

Anyone that leaves their decoys out all the time doesn't know what they are doing. That is laziness not a tactic for duck hunting. Real ducks are not in the exact same spot or in the same part of the water for days or weeks at a time.
