Hevi-metal feeding problems

Have you had trouble getting Hevi-metal shells to feed in a semi-auto?
My Beneilli SBE II eats just about anything, until now. I'm using 3" BB in a goose field, and the first two flights gave me a surprise. First shot, boom then action fails to cycle. When I put Kent 3" in...boom, boom, boom.

Even when loading, the Hevi shells don't go in easy.

Not once. I have shot over 2 cases of them in my 12 and 20 and have yet to have one hang up or anything except expell death!!! i shoot them in SX2's, SBE, and Brownings without a hitch.
Try them again and see if it happens again in a controlled experiment. Make sure they are clean of any debris, fire them and see what happens. If it does, look at the shell and see if you can see why. Make sure your chamber area is clean, rust, dirt, etc.. Let us know back.

I have used them in my Extrema 2 with no issues at all.

I wiped off the shells, and did a quick swab of the mag and chamber, feathers flew, wings folded and geese fell. I didn't see anything in the gun or on the shells, but the problem got fixed.

Thats happens more than people tend to realize. In the off season chambers can accumulate a light coating of rust in the chamber end and te first few shells tend to hang up or jam. Just a fast swab and scrub and all is gold again!!!!! Good job on the feathers flying and critters dying!!!!! Have a great season and tell Dog hey from us!!! LMAO!!!!!

I would be most surprised if that was a shell issue as opposed
to a shotgun magazine issue. I have had shotguns have
problems "seeding" a shell and most often it was corrosion
or a magazine follower that was the issue. I find the HeviShot
shells be extremely well made. Check your magazine follower
and see if the problem is there. Good Luck......

I shot a bunch of 3.5" Hevimetal on a spring snow goose trip in Lancaster County PA... absolute garbage. About every 7th shell failed to cycle. My SBE2 is in perfect condition. Pulled the backup, an SBE1; same thing. Took a hard look at the shells and about 3 per box were crooked, with a rolled over kink about halfway down the shell. I'll never buy another box, much less a case.

I have used HeviMetal shells in both 3" and 3 1/2" and experienced
nothing but Dead Ducks and Geese with these shells. I used
them in an older Remington 1187, SBE I and SBE II with super
results and NO ISSUES.
