border collie/blue heeler hunts ducks!
 

hey everybody, this winter i had posted a thread asking if anyone thought my border collie/blue heeler cross named Rizzo would hunt with me. i got various answers from "only if your herding cattle" to
"she could be trained to" and "it's possible". It seemed that tha majority of the responders had major doubt and total disbelief that she would not, but i sit here typing this as a young sportsman proud of his pup. Not only does she retrieve ducks out of the water but she watches the sky and gets very excited when something flies past. For those of you who may still not believe me, i got it on video...

That's pretty cool, my duck dog is a brittany spaniel, also not the normal duck dog!

I can't wait to get out this weekend for the wisco opener!!!!!
