flagging??
my dad always told me to remain still during hunting. nut ive watched some videos and always see people flagging during goose hunting, just wondering if flags are a yes or a no. please let me know your opinion.. :s13:

Flag them all the way to the ground.

Just like CL said, flag em to the ground!!! Do it from the pits, layout blinds and have even done it just laying on the ground with a decoy over me as a blind. Wouldn't even consider goose hunting without a flag. Without it would be like not haveing your gun with ya!!!

I have hunted and guided waterfowl for many years, and in many differant state. With that said my rule of thumb is if they are doing what you want them to do, don't do anything that might change that. With flagging i only flag when they can see me with one eye. in my region of MN this works, but it does vary from region to region, but a flag is a must! Best way to figure this out is buy a flag (I reccommend avery) and see what the birds in your area like.
