first call

Default first call

hey im looking to get into duck hunting next year but would like to pick up a duck call to get some practice with in the off season i have a $50 gift card for cabelas and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction as far as which one to buy there are so many out there its mind boggling

buy one at the sportsmans show when we go down, then you can hear guys using them and everything.

Ditto on that. I got a couple cheap calls when I first started hunting. My first call that actually sounded good and didn't freeze up was the double nasty and for $25 you can't complain. Get the call that comes with the keychain with various call sounds recorded onto it. Helps alot when just starting out.

yah hes a d bag, but he makes good calls, i havea Straight honker and it sounds good, rnt hunter series are good too

I sold all my foiles calls long ago. You've been sleeping if you just now realized that ethics mean nothing to him. Sure the calls are good, but there are lots of other good ones to choose from.

Hell yeah man, why support a company who is owned by some one that completely lost sight of what waterfowling is about and pillaged the community for his own personal and monatary gain. No matter how good his calls are, he's lacking in the ethics department. Thats enough for me not to support his company.
