Start right and build your spread with GHG dekes. Most realistic decoy for the price. Check Rogers Sporting Goods every now and then for deals. They usually run some really good specials on them.

I think G&H are the best decoys for the money and you won't need very many. On open water such as large ponds or lakes, the best duck decoy's are a handful of goose floaters. Try it and you will see.

cabelas is having some crazy deals right now. otherwise try and find someone on craigslist who is selling some decoys. when you are just starting out the key is to get your numbers first. after you get your total number you need then you can start slowly trading you old decoys for the latest and greatest.
