best pump for money is definitley an 870 super mag. I have one and it has never failed. I also now have a benelli m2 it dont shoot 3 1/2s but ive always used 3" for turkey geese and ducks i just dont like or feel the need to shoot 3 1/2s but it is an awesome gun it has never jamed and every time i pull the trigger i know its gonna go off and it extremely easy to break down and clean. I got mine for 850. My brother got a barretta extrema 2 and it dont shoot like that benelli. Its an awesome gun for the money.

Hard to beat the auto5 for sure. I shoot my 2 3/4 A5 most of the time but still like to take out the old Model 11 once or twice a year. Cowboy, is that a synthetic stock on your A5?

Can't go wrong with benelli. I have the Vinci which is only 3inch but with the right choke and shot there's not that much of a difference between it and 3.5s. If you want a cheaper benelli go with the m2 or the supernova. I personally loved the way the Vinci felt when I held it and there is absolutely no recoil with the comfortech stuff it has. It also breaks down easily in seconds. Benellis will always fire no matter what you put through em.

870 Express Magnum...durable as hell. I also have an 1100. It's only in 2 3/4 so i only use it for the Septembe teal season. Thats a good gun too if you maintain it frequently. But the 870 has never failed on me...and it's not that expensive.

i made the purchase this winter, and i decided to go with a remington 887 nitro mag, its a new line by remington and after handling more than a dozen guns that one felt better than any. i have taken it out to shoot clays with it and am shoot as well or better than i can with other guns i have handled. first clay i tried i hit twice before it came to the ground
it has a super recoil pad that almost eliminates recoil all together, its the softest shooting pump i have ever shot. has a 28 inch barrel and an improved cylender choke. Will cycle 2 3/4, 3, and 3 1/2 inch shells interchangably. has the advantage max4 camo pattern on it and an armor gaurd for added durability through any "banging around" (pun intended) that it might go through. one last note, breaks down incredibly easy, long story short, loving my new gun.
