Default Kent Fasteel

Last year I tried Kent Fasteel for ducks and geese and absolutely loved it. I shot 3.5" #2' s, which carry a 1 3/8 oz load at a sizzling 1550 fps. Great knockdown power at extended range and it absolutely killed them DEAD! Anyone have any experience with this brand of ammo, good/bad or otherwise?

I heard a lot about it, even tried it. The guy I hunted with loved it, but I didn' t. I would say it is better than a lot of the steel shot that is out there, but it' s still steel. I like my Remington Hevi-shot. It' s relatively expensive, but it' s the best stuff I have ever used on waterfowl. Try it, you' ll see a difference

The best way to shoot steel is to shoot the same kind each and every time only varying the shot size. Buy all different brands and pattern your gun about now. Whatever shoots the best, stick with it. I have found that the Brownings love Win ammunition. I usually go drylock just cause the bottom of the boat isn' t usually very dry.

I shot Fast Steel for the 1st time last year for geese and its a great load. Shot 1 & 1/8 BBs and it absolutely rocked them out to 50 yds. I ordered a few more boxes this year! Bought duck loads too! Its cheaper than Federal Nitro and Winchester Drylok. Im sold. [:-]

I have tried Kent fast steel and was not impressed. I had more success with Canadian made Challengers then the Kent fast steel.
