Need a new duck call!!
Hey guys, I've been switching back and forth from cheap $20 calls and they sound pretty good but I'm looking to buy one duck call I can stick with and like.
Any suggestions for a call right around $100 that you like? Prefer Single reeds Thanks! Kellen |
I had this same question a few months back and I ended up going with the RNT Daisy Cutter.. great call its 135 tho

Made here in Texas by Joe Briscoe. Best calls on the market. Best sounding, easiest to blow, very inexpensive for acrylic. I have dozens of them and just bought a short barrel single and double reed last week for $60 apiece. Great calls. The newest world champion snow goose and specklebelly caller used Joe's calls last week to win the championship. Tell him Kevin Meadows sent ya!! |
RNT....Short Barrel or Daisy Cutter would be a great choice!!!! Both are awesome calls and never leave my lanyard.

Learn how, when and when not to call. This is the most important aspect in waterfowling. If you learn how to properly to don't have to spend alot of money on a call.
I used one call exclusively for most ducks (mallards , blacks) whicj was made by an outfit called Greenhead that was in service for almost 20 years before the barrel cracked and it had to be retired. That call cost somewhere around $16 back in '79, prior to that had used various call and after I went with one of Haydel's. For geese I've used Faulk's from the day I started ,today I believe they market it under "Goose Honker". Last one I purchased was $8 but I think they sell for $14 today . |
