Vinci or SBEII???

I'm in the market for a new shotgun and I'm set on getting a Benelli. The two choices I have are the Vinci and the SBEII. what are the advantages to each?

what are you going to use it for?

first off the SEII has been around longer, secondly the vinci is ugly as chit

Lundinbridge,
I also have this problem. My dad just bought the Vinci and he loves it. I shot it a few times and loved it to. On the other hand my buddy has an SBE 2 and he loves it. Im mostly going to use mine for waterfowl so i dont know if I should go with the SBE 2 just because it can accomadate 3 1/2 inch shells. Even though the Vinci is a little odd looking it shoots amazing, I was pretty impressed. But I guess just shoot them both to really find out. I plan to do the same.

I actually think the Vinci is pretty cool looking, but I would be using it for duck and teal so 3.5"s aren't needed. I also like how the Vinci is $300 less than the SBEII :happy0001:

Don't like the "looks" of the Vinci - sorry !

Just one man's opinion..........

There you answer. I have never had the need for a 3 1/2" shell. It is a different looking gun but I like the fact that it breaks down into 3 pieces.

I've heard of the Vinci having some issues... but I would assume it was from improper assembly or lack of cleaning...

The 3-1/2 will retain value better than the 3", and, if you do decide to do a bunch of snow goose and lateseason canadas, you may well start using 3-1/2, just to push up pellet count in your shots
And, the SBE is a high grade weapon, if it fits you.

Vinci

I have over 500 rounds shot in the Vinci that I own and Love it. It a piece of equipment , a utility fire arm . If you want a Mona Lisa buy a engraved Beretta or $100,000 British side by side. To each his own , Mossburg or Remingtom pump does just as good . And yes I still shoot both of them too.
