Default An early Christmas present (pics)

Went out to some public land the other mornin with a buddy. It was cold as ice that mornin with some wind. Saw some ringers, mallards and resident geese throughout the morning. Around 8 in the mornin three lone geese came in and my buddy called em in. On the second pass i put the bead on the lead bird crunched him. My heart skipped a beat when I pulled him out of the water

Third year huntin ducks and I've already got what most veteran duck hunters in SC long for

Awesome man congrats. They don't band as many in SC as they used to... used to be impossible to shoot a mallard down there that didn't have leg iron..... and you are definately used to those Charleston winters.... cold as ice and here I am in a T-Shirt!

Dang!

In all the years I have been duck hunting - I have yet to shoot one banded fowl!

Congratulations!
