Curls on ducks??

I am new to waterfowl hunting this year. I was wondering what a curl is?? I have heard of ducks usually having 1-3 curls, sometimes 4. Could someone explain, maybe show me a pic?? I appreciate the help!!

The thinking behind them the more they have the older they are. The yearling drake mallards will have about half a curl. I like to keep them since they are so cool looking.

I would really like to get a mount with one that has a few curls. Do just Mallards have them???

Only mallards or to a lesser extent mallard hybrids.
