What Gun?
 

Last season, I shot a whole bunch of different waterfowl shotguns, and this year, I really dont want to do that, because I never became really good with any of them. Im going t oask you all what scattergun you think is the best
-Remington 11-87 12ga Magnum
-Winchester 1300 12ga Magnum
-Browning Citori 12ga Magnum
I like the way the Remington feels, but I hunt hard and I cat have it jam on me, and the Citori is sweet, but heavy, and I guess I dont like the 1300 all that much.
Any help would be appreaciated

I am a Benelli SBE shooter but have a couple Remington guns as well. If the 11-87 is clean and in good working order it should not be jamming. You can not use any gun as a boat paddle and expect it to perform 100%. I would recommend taking the 11-87 in and have it checked out then go throw lots of shot before season. Good luck.

I have two 11-87' s......a 3 inch model that was bought when they first came out and a 3 1/2 incher I bought 1 1/2 years ago and I have absolutly no jamming problems with either even in freezing rain, sleet and snow. Very dependable guns IMO.

If you are having jamming problems try using Rem Oil and if that doesn' t help you need to take it in to a gunsmith cause there is a problem.

Shoot with the gun that feels best to you. Weight, fit and your swing are more important than the make of the gun. I' ve seen guys drop some serious $$ for skeet & trap guns with no improvement in their scores.
I shoot a Win 1300, but that' s me. If you' re most comfortable with a Rem 11-87 follow the advice and have it checked out. Hopefully, all it needs is a good breakdown & cleaning session.

a. Benelli has one, 391 I think.
b. Browning Gold. (There' s the A5 too, discontinued)
c. Winchester SX2

I shoot the Benelli M-1 Field and love it but if I would have to pick between then 3 listed I would deffinately say the 11-87.
