new duck call
hey,
i been hunting for a few years and i started with a buck gardner double nasty, then switched to an open water. I learned from a calling cd while i was driving to and from school which was a hour away. i have decided to finally buy a quality call. i am looking for a good quality wooden call. I relly like the look of the echo calls but i was wondering if anyone knows how they sound. also if you have any other suggestions of wooden calls i am open to just bout anything. |
bgb death whistle is a great call. i had the double nasty but it didnt have the range this one does.imo

My best advice is to go to any store that sells calls and try them out - every call fits people differently - I can blow an RNT really well but sound terrible blowing a Zinks. Find which one sounds best for you!

Tim Grounds and RNT is all ima gonna say, best there is

Larry Gresser - Prairie Game Calls
Link http://www.prairiecalls.com/duck_and_goose_calls Is all I use and well worth it. He has Raspy or Clear Water - does all wood or acrylic mouth piece. Call him and tell him what you like - he will match it. JW |
Go with rnt or gaston.

I make custom wooden and acrylic calls. PM me your number and I will call you and see what we can work out. Here are a few calls that I make.
