I hunt with a friend who hunts only with an old rem 1100 lightweight 20ga and he has no trouble keepin up just keeps his shots reasonable inside 35 yards or so. Hell of a teal gun too!

The 20 ga has long been rated an underdog when it comes to waterfowl. I hunt with a group of guys that all they use are 12's, while I usually shoot a 20. It still surprises them today that a 20 hangs right there with them.

My girlfriend has a 20 ga savage that she takes with us....I don't know about the #4 hevishot seems a little light for geese she uses either 3 in #1 or 2's and has no problem with them...she also has it choked full so its a tight pattern at 30-40 yards

Heh, any of you guys on your thread heard about the wind meter that the deer hunter downloaded on his I phone?
They say it actually works. I think he paid 3 bucks for it. Crazy!
