hunting till dark?
 

im off for a few days so im trying to get as much hunting in as possible.

i was wanting to go scouting and stuff tonight. can u legally hunt till dark in texas? do people even do it?

j/w, im new so dont laugh out loud to hard.

No, you can't hunt waterfowl til dark. You can hunt til sunset, which is about 30 minutes before it gets dark. One half hour before sunrise til sunset. This of course is on private land.OnWMA's or NWR's, you must stop hunting anywhere from 12:00 to 2:00. I know of no government land that allows you to hunt til sunset.

im on a WMA, i just have the urge to hunt so bad right now. better than being in the house.

Most WMAs in SC allow you to hunt half our before sunrise until sunset. Draw hunts you can only hunt til 11am i believe, and at one other place you cant enter until 3am and you cant stay past 11am.

we mainly hunt wma's here in georgia and you are allowed to hunt 30minutes before sunrise untill 30minutes before sunset that is on MOST wma's some require that you stop hunting by 12 but you just have to check out the specific wma that you will be hunting

There is no government land in LA. that allows hunting past 2:00 p.m. If youplan on making an afternoon hunt on government land, you hadbetter check your regulations. I haven't hunted public land in years, but there is some excellent public land hunting down here, but you can hunt only til 12:00 in some places and 2:00 in others. Most WMA's close at 2:00 p.m.down here.
