Congrats, I have to ask though, I've duck hunted for the last few years and killed I think three with bands in that time. I never really paid much attention to them whats so special about a bird with a band?

They're very rare, unless you're hunting around parks. They band a lot of them in parks (around here anyway).

About half of my dad's are on his lanyard, the rest are on mounts.
