First Hunt and Question
 

I went out on my first ever duck hunt yesterday and it was a blast. I got my limit with 5 Gadwals (3 drake, 2 hen) and a Mallard hen. But we got out there about 5:30 all set up and I had one duck by 12. Then everything hit the fan and I had my limit by 12:15. Is that normal. For ducks to be breaking out so late? It just seemed odd to me. But me and my brother, who does this a lot, both limited out. He got 5 gadwal and a Green wing teal. It was a blast and I can't wait for the next time.

Oh ya and I almost forgot. I was planning on cooking them up for thanksgiving. Anyone have any advice for cooking them. I have them in salt water right now in my fridge, but like I said before, it was my first hunt so I am unsure where to go from here.
