Look at Quacker Attacker calls http://www.quackerattacker.net/
I have several of his calls
His acrylic calls have a lifetime gaarantee
I have even had him retune my 1 call
He felt the reed needed replacing , so he put a new one in for free
I also know he makes some of the other high end calls for other companys
If you are around MI or NW Ohio
He sets up at waterfowl festivals

Depends on what you want out of a call.
Most acrylics come in one of three forms... timber (loud), open water (louder), street/contest (really effin' loud).
Brian Watkins, of Poquoson, VA makes a call called the Hybrid Swamp Bore that sounds as much like a real live hen mallard as any call I've ever heard. Hell of a nice guy too.

I went with the Sean Mann timber a few back. I have never had any other acrylic so I have nothing to compare it to. I am thinking about a cocobola call. I want something high end but more mellow. Where I hunt I don't need a screamer.

I just ordered a RnT Short Barrel last night for an early Christmas present. I got an acrylic one in the Steel color. Don't know if you have every blown one or heard one in person, but they're mighty nice and not too terribly loud for an acrylic call. Here's a link to the one I got.http://www.rntcalls.com/products/items.aspx?id=4
I'd also take a hard look at Echo Calls before you make a decision. Great calls, particularly for timber hunting.
