The shot size I shoot depends on the situation. If we're hunting early season birds, I prefer to shoot 6's, as we're shooting mostly young mallards and wood ducks. Once we get a bit later in the season, I switch exclusively to #4's. I also shoot mostly Hevishot, as it is far superior to any version of steel shot.
