never pulled a band myself even after years of trying. dad has pulled probably a dozen but most were before my time. not many bands are pulled from my area of the state. at least not turned in when i looked at reported band recoveries.

K well around here we must have a local bander or something, or the banded birds come right down the flyaway to us... we probably average 1 band per 25 geese or so...ish.Ducks on a rare occasion....
Tonight the boys got lucky! 7 geese, with 5 bands in em...the five came from aflock of 7,(prolly where the bands came from... WOW or what?!!! They musta been a family group all banded together, and well we sent em 'home' together as well!
