Nothing larger than a modified should do you fine.

First Pattern your factor IC and Mod , my 835's Mod produced great patterns with some loads

The IC would probely work for close in work

I found Mod or full choke with 2's or BB to pattern out of my 835.

I take the road less traveled for sea ducks.... I shoot an Improved Modified.

All the rest of my puddle ducks and geese are shot at fairly close range, and I typically just use an IC.

Gotta try 'em all and see what works the best.
