Remington 11-87
I just recieved a Remington 11-87 12 gauge 3" Magnum from my Dad. He only hunted it a little, and I love it, but having never run my Federal Steel Magnums out of it, I was wondering, how reliable is it?

RE: Remington 11-87
I have 2 of them....a 3inch model that was bought when they first hit the market and a 3 1/2 inch SuperMag. I have never had a bit of problem with either one no matter how cold, wet or icy the conditions. They require very little maintainence which works out fine for me since I am not big on keeping a gun spotlessly clean during the season. Some of my buddies shoot other brands of semi-auto' s that they have to break down and clean after every hunt or they end up shooting single shots the next trip.
My last 5 waterfowling guns have been Remingtons and they all have worked very dependably.
