Better ammo or better choke tube?

i have always used kent fasteel and a modified remchoke to duck hunt. i am not great shot but the combo seems to have proven itself effective. i am always looking for something new to buy though and i started looking into waterfowl choke tubes that strip the wad before it can fly through the pattern, which supposedly creates holes in the spread. then federal came out with the black cloud ammo, everyone has been raving about it and i thought i'd try that ammo with a waterfowl choke tube. i looked into FBC more though and found that the wad is actually supposed to stay with the pattern longer to keep the pattern tighter. with that said, wouldnt FBC ammo with a wad stripping choke tube be counter productive? should i just put the money towards a few boxes of black cloud? thanks guys.

the last issue of Wildfowl had a great article in it about using better chokes and cheaper ammo

I have used a patternmaster and Kent Faststeel with good results, but I normally just use the Faststeel and a factoryimproved cylinder choke.
