are rivers good evening hunting spots? does anyone know more than i on this subject if so enlighten me.

yes, it depends on the river, but generally I don't like to shoot ducks in the evening...just my personal opinion, but let the birds have a little rest....

like the others have said, depends on the river.

the best time to be on the river, is when everything else is froze over, youll slam the ducks then, when its the only open water

we pretty much exculsively hunt rivers on our river the savanah river in ga-sc border we hunt the morning and have tried the afternoons but there is no comparsion where im at deffinantaly hunting in the morning
