RE: Who Makes the Best Quality Decoys?
Carrylite decoys are worthless!! After about two seasons, the paint is so worn that most of the decoys are black. I bought some a few years back to save some money, but I will never do that again. I mostly use G+Hs now, and they seem to work pretty good. I' m not to crazy about their mallard deeks, but I really like their divers.
I have some Herters as well and I think they' re great decoys too, but as already stated, they are heavy, so dont work well if you have to walk, or if you have a small boat. Also, if you have the standard Herters, make sure you dont get any gasoline on them, they dissolve like sugar in water-not a good thing when you' ve spent that kind of money on a decoy!!
