2007-2008

I apologize in advance because these kinds of posts annoy me, but I am seriously depressed about the season being over. I was wondering if any of you had any good stories, pictures, or memories you madethis season that you would like to share.

Here is my highlight: We shot (at) this little wood duck, but all that was wrong with him after the shot was he had a few feathers missing from his right wing. He had no broken bones and no damage to his body at all. So we took him to the house for some pictures and then turned him loose in the neighborhood duck pond where he can recoup without being botheredbypredators in the woods. He was a little nervous at first, but he settled down and actually acted like a pet. Here he is in my hand.

Here's 2 pictures of the probably weekend of hunting this year. Shot about a 5 or 6 man limit both days, and the second day I managed to get about 5 minutes of video of geese landing 10 feet from my blind after we had shot our limit. Always havea great hunthunting with these guys.

Yeah, maybe. But at least this way he'll survive.
