I saw a ''big river'' goose call and i was wondering if any of you guys like this call or have it

my buddy has one and i dont like it.. are you talking about the flute? I reccomend a short reed call. Alot easier to blow and master and you can do more notes easier than on a flute. For a short reed, pic up any call. But make sure you pick up some instructional cds also otherwise you will be blowing a kazoo at the geese and not sounding like a goose. I reccomend shawn stahls honker talk, its a dvd. Also craig mcdonalds 100% all goose, cd. along with scott thrienens bad grammer cd.. All these will help you become a good caller, but dont give up. You wont sound anything like a goose for a few months without practice. Practice practice practice and you will get good if you stick to it and keep improving. But stick with the basics at first, master them and then work on the rest.
