RE: Blind bag recommendation?
For wading in hunting I generally use a McAllister vest (Filson makes a great one too) it holds my shells and keeps my hands free and I use a strap to haul out the ducks. I don't wanna haul around a bag if I don't have to, but I started using a drake floating blind bag a few years ago when hunting in a pit or in my boat. I have owned Drake and Avery blind bags and the Avery's never lasted more than 2 seasons, I have 5 seasons on the drake now. I also like the smaller McAllister blind bags and I will buy one when the Drake gives up the ghost since I don't need the capacity because I don't guide anymore.... Buy something from McAllister or Filson and you will be able to leave it to your grand-kids....

RE: Blind bag recommendation?
I have used both Avery and Drake. I have to say they are both well built. I would give the advantage to the Drake bag. The inside is a tan material which is a lot easier to find things when it is dark being that the light color reflects the light. The bag is very durable and lasts. Good Quality Product.

RE: Blind bag recommendation?
a fanny pack no matter how weird it sounds is deffinently the best thing to have for holding shells if you ever go in deeper water than you expected you can just loosen up the strap on the fanny pack and bring it up to your chest.......been using one for a while and love them
