Looks like a pretty good hunt.

Question though, how many mallard hens are you guys allowed to kill?

Looks like Tennessee says 6 birds, of which no more than 4 mallards and of those, no more than 2 females. I'm sure that the guy taking the picture had his license and took that odd numbered mallard hen, RIGHT Clay? :D

For those of you wondering about the limit we were strictly legitimate. We got 7 mallards 3 woodies and a blue bill hen which the picture doesn't really do justice. Both me and my friend are commitee members on our local DU chapter. We actually passed on quite a few mallard hens that morning in fear of going over the limit. Hope this is a good indication of how the rest of the season will be.
