RE: decoying canadians ?
I always set them up with the wind and put them about 1 or 2 feet away it works for me. Also the velvet heads work pretty good. also don't put the heads on perfectly straight twist them around.

Place their faces in the wind....maybe a j-c pattern and setup somewhere in the middle of the deks...and get ready...Honkers

thats what i ment faces in the wind. but i dont use a j-c pattern i put them in a horseshoe or a big V. it works for me!

RE: decoying canadians ?
The wind should dictate where you put your decoys. There are lots of varying opinions on this and many are effective. I personally like the horseshoe, however the most important thing is watching the wind!!
