Training a 5 month old lab to hunt waterfowl
 

I'm having a really hard time trying to train my 5 month old lab. all she wants to do is run around. she doesn't want to do anything but sit when told otherwise shes just running around and im getting fustrated. Can anyone help me out?

First thing,
find a local retriever club. Those boys are a saving grace. If no help there order a good training dvd and a electronic collar. I have a troublesom yellow male. I actually sent him to a pro trainer. He was just to much for me to handle. Now he is the Sh*t. But I still have to work with him. Using the electronic dog collar turns him into robo dog. It is not used for a punishment. Just an attention getter!
