What are some techniques to get woodies to fly to a spread better?

Put a few wood duck decoys within 5' of cover , brush ,cattails ect
You will almost never see a woodie out in the open water When the woodies come in be ready They will slow down when they buzz the decoys and may come around and give you a second chance But many times they will land a little ways down the cover line and swim in John |
