anyone use the avery fred zink power hunter layout blind kahki thinking about buying one and wanted to know if it is worth $110.00??

I prefer the Final Approach series of blinds myself. The X-Land'r and S.U.B. are my favorites. You can get the S.U.B. in field brown for just a little more money and it's a lower profile and has a frame around you instead of a sleeping bag design.

I use it and it is an O.K. blind the flip top is a littlehateful to get use to but it is light weight and has a low profile. I dont hunt alot of lay out blind set ups most of my hunting is done from my boat, but from what I have used it, its O.K. but if I was going to do alot of lay out hunting I would go with the SUB if you are interestd in mine I will sell it to you just drop me a P.M.

I have one and have used it for a year, it's a nice portable blind if you don't mind sacarificing a little room for your goodie bags. It's a little small for me since I am 6'5", I'd consider selling it if your interested. Email me at [email protected] and I'll send you some pics and such.

I owna few of the final aproach blinds, but I hunted out of the power hunter last year andI think it is much easier to tell where the birds are. It is definatley much easier to call out of.

Don't forget on the Powerhunter there is no place to keep your gun inside out of the elements if it is raining or snowing or to even help keep the mud off of it.

so it sounds right to me that i shouldnt buy this layout blind and just get the zinc

I also use the final approach guide series and it is a awesome blind with gun holder, shell bags on both sides, padded head and back rest and blends in great with little work.. One thing I will recomend is no matter what blind you go with mud it up real good to help dull it before you use it.This should be done with all blinds that are new..
