I got one about 3 years ago. Great gun. the only draw back on it is the recoil. I put a Limb Saver pad on it and its a lot better. I can shoot a case of shells through it with out my shoulder hurting. My advice is to get one.

Hog, The one I'm looking at has the Benelli Intertia Driven operating system...I am not sure if this is a new feature...I've been strictly bow hunting for a few years now and haven't kept track on gun technology...Know about this or the recoil?

I'm not sure if they redsigned it or not. But out of the box mine had a kick like a small mule. That was will low brass shells. But putting on the Limb Saver recoil pad helped a lot. I shoot only 2 3/4 in high brass 6 shot or higher now and it doesn't bother me at all. know its about like maybe a 30/30.

Awesome gun for the money. Why pay $1500.00 for a Benelli when you can pay $400.00 for one. Yes they kick because they are very light. Just put a limbsaver on it. They make good boat paddles too.

I shoot gas operated Rems, MP-153, and Mossy 935 but the 2000 is a great gun and a great buy. Go for it. You can not have to many guns. Ned S who has 61 screwinchokes. Have a poly on one of my 11oo barrels. :):):)
