new to the waterfowl world! need some help!
 
hello everyone! i just recently went duck hunting for the first time and i feel in love.. well anyway i know how to use the calls and everything because i started practicing way back after last duck season. so i just need to know the basics of mallards and wood ducks basically ... we have a few buffleheads but not many.. what are some of the best techniques??? i really need your help!!! thank you

I have heard that if you are not VERY good on a call, let the dekes do the work. I have had my best luck on woodies by jump shooting. I hope this is not bad advice, it is what I have been trying to use.

Please remember one thing, we are not ducks. What sounds good to us may run them off.
