What kind of duck?

Hey guys, season is over here but I was out this morning just glassing the ponds with my spotting scope, and saw a duck that was swimming around with a bunch of mallards, He was black and white and pretty small, and it looked like he had a mo-hawk, Does anyone have any idea what kind of duck this is? I can't seem to find a picture of one on the internet.
