The Best floater Decoy in your opinion ???
Who makes the best Waterfowl decoy in your opinion? Been Waterfowl hunting for years. But I want to upgrade my floaters and looking for opinions. IfIt matters I hunt both Divers and Puddle Ducks.

Any cork decoy with a good simple paint scheme. The G. Soule style out of the Decoy Shop and L.L. Bean in Maine are IMHO the best designed working decoy there is. A dozen of them properly placed can outdraw 2-3 dozen plastic available on the market.
Second choice would be a Herter style decoy.

Flambeau decoys are cheap and it shows. I have had problems with the paint comingoff of them really bad. That was only hunting with them about six times.

ive had flambeau masters, and the paint is gone to the point of uselesness after only one season. go with Avery GHG. they are super life like and the paint lasts. also, you can get em with the snap lock keel for regulating depth.
