Shot a pretty drake woodroe myself this morning, and he was pretty even for a wood duck drake...it is getting later, and he is probably closer to full plume than most of the birds we kill around here in November and early December. Got to shoot my 16ga as well since the rain held off. Only saw 6 birds all morning..but this swamp is kinda like that...if you see anything at all...then they are coming in!

I hunt in South Carolina the second pick the drake is getting mounted he was the prettiest I have ever seen.
