RE: Help me id this duck
Which pose you thinkin about big?
Might look nice as a dead pair? Or in a diving pose on a piece of drift wood (they can dive to 200ft!!!)...or perched on an old crab trap? |

Swamp, thinking about this. What do ya think? But with squaws, hen you will be able to see her belly, and drake the back.

Just wondering who you'd get to mount them,
Also I think my personal opinion would be to get them mounted standing, have the drake standing and the hen sleeping or resting... I dunno, the other way would look good too.. |

Dead mount looks nice. I do have a surf scoter and buffle in the freezer too. Might be interesting.

ORIGINAL: bigcountry Dead mount looks nice. I do have a surf scoter and buffle in the freezer too. Might be interesting. That is acctually a mount I have been contimplating getting assembled myself. Its a very true to life Chesepeake Bay slam. Something you don't find anywere else. All you need now is a rockfish, a gannet and a gas burner and you'll have the whole ecosystem covered! |
