and saw many mallards, a few woodies, a few gw teal, a few ruddys, couple wigeon, couple blacks, and many canadas ......... may go out again this afternoon to check out sum more areas

I saw a bunch scouting too. I've found out the last couple of days that this is the perfect time before the season to ride around and ask permission to hunt

Looks like it'll be a good season here too, I have seen a lot of mallards and a few gadwalls on the pondsI will be hunting.
