RE: blinds??

I use a cabelas interceptor layout blind that I got for about $150. Cheaper blind but I've had no problems with it and it's comfortable. As far as sitting or stand up blinds.I just use the reeds along the slough i'm hunting, however out along the big lake I built two blinds out of old dock sections, branches and weeds pulled from a field behind the cabin.

I construct my own out of spare wood. It works just fine.... the only problem is it's permanent

I use homemade blinds. The beauty of the hunting reserve I hunt on is that you can use anyone's blind, and they cannot do anything about it. And if you're a nice guy and someone request to use the blind they made, you can gladly move. These blinds can range from kneeling ones to standing.

My boat is quite often my blind. If I am hunting from land, I usually make my own on the spot. Comfort is paramount, and I use a nice camp chair, and usually put them near a stump which is useful as a coffee table or ottoman. I don't hunt any fields on a regular basis, so haven't owned a layout.
